Weak/ Overactive Bladder (OAB)

Over-Active Bladder Syndrome (OAB) is a common condition in Men & Women over the age of 40 years, affecting over 22 million people in Europe. The exact cause is unknown but can be due to medical conditions, and/or poor diet & health. The bladder is a bag of muscles which contract allowing the urine to pass through the urethra. In OAB it cojtracts too early, i.e. before it is full, releasing urine without your control. Many people also say that the site of a toilet or hearing water running can also trigger it off.

At the Shifa Pain Relief clinic we assess the muscles causing the overactive bladder and try to treat them via Modern FSN Floating Needle Acupuncture as well as homeopathy and hijama cupping if required. Contact the clinic for an appointment. Call 01582 206 366 OR 07956 553417.
